Historic Crippen House To Be Preserved In Museum

The iconic home of Peter Crippen is being carefully deconstructed today. Crippen was a trailblazer in Huntington — one of the first African American homeowners in the area and the founder of his own church. For generations, his residence stood as a cornerstone of the Black community. Now, that powerful legacy will live on — as part of a museum planned for the area.
