Glory Movie Screening

June 21 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join the Huntington African American Museum for an afternoon of film, history, and community on Juneteenth weekend. We are thrilled to host a two-part event honoring the past and foster dialogue for the future.

Experience a powerful screening of the Academy Award-winning film Glory, which tells the heroic story of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment, one of the first African American units in the Union Army during the Civil War.

Following the film screening is the Kitchen Table Series that is rooted in the belief that meaningful change begins in community. It is a space where people come together to share, reflect, and reconnect—reviving the idea of a “village,” where every voice matters and collective understanding is built through conversation.
